Arc Task Lamp
Controlled movement and comfortable task light
Arc combines a slim aluminum arm with a broad optical head and a weighted base. The hinge is tuned to hold its position through normal adjustment without feeling locked. Controls are placed on the base where they remain visible when the lamp is folded low.
Development sequence
Optical samples establish color temperature, glare control and dimming steps. Mechanical samples then confirm hinge life, cable routing, base stability and surface finish. Final electrical review uses the intended power adapter and destination labeling.
The retail carton supports the head and arm separately so transport loads do not rest on the hinge. Assembly instructions are checked against the packed configuration.
